And Rebirth!

Well, we did a little more than just replacing the motor.

I may have mentioned that Sascha is a meister painter in his dad's commercial painting business. But he is also quite capable with an airbrush and has painted both of his (modern) bikes. He practically insisted that this was the right moment to get rid of that "ugly green" color. And it's quite true that I never picked that color in the first place, but got it because it was a real deal as a demonstrator bike. Sascha also mentioned that he had some paint left over from doing his K1200LT called Liquid Silver...

...which looks incredible in the sun:
